Purpose To confirm the performance of the pulsation vacuum sterilizer and verify the effect of the SPF golden hamster cage and drinking water under the specified loading method and sterilization conditions for pulsation vacuum sterilization.
Method Use professional temperature probes and biological indicators to perform pulsation vacuum sterilization on different items of the same load through chemical and physical methods. First carry out the no-load vacuum holding test and BD test and no-load heat distribution test of the pulsating vacuum sterilizer to confirm the performance of the sterilizer itself, and then perform the full load heat distribution test/heat penetration according to the specified loading method and sterilization conditions Test/microbiological challenge test, and sterility test.
Results The performance of the pulsating vacuum sterilizer was qualified: the vacuum holding pressure, the BD test, and the no-load heat distribution test were all qualified; the SPF golden hamster cage and drinking water were subjected to a full load heat distribution test/heat penetration according to the specified loading method and sterilization conditions Test/microbial challenge test, all test results are qualified; after sampling the high-pressure litter and drinking water inoculated in the culture medium for 14 days, no colony growth is seen in the culture medium, and the sterility test is qualified.
Conclusion The SPF golden hamster cage and drinking water can achieve the sterilization effect after pulsed vacuum sterilization under the specified loading method and sterilization conditions.
