Objective: To compare the genetic characteristics of the nucleus of inbred mice of 7 strains commonly used in Shanghai.
Methods: The 48 pairs of microsatellite primers with rich polymorphism were optimized to form 11 sets of multiple fluorescent PCR primer mixture system, and the core group of 7 strains of inbred mice from two major experimental mouse suppliers in Shanghai The DNA samples are typed and tested. Genetic analysis software is used for data analysis.
Results: The 7 strains of inbred mice from the two major suppliers are all homozygous at 48 microsatellite loci. The results of STR loci of mice in the same population are all consistent; regardless of whether the strains are the same in different populations, There are differences in STR loci between each other. However, the genetic distance between inbred mice of the same strain and different populations is relatively close compared with the genetic distance between different strains of mouse populations. In the UPGMA cluster tree, the same strains are different The populations were first grouped into one group in pairs. C57BL/6 mice are closely related to the other 6 strains of mice.
Conclusion: There are differences in STR loci among the core groups of 7 strains of inbred mice from different suppliers in Shanghai.
