Purpose: By measuring the hematological indexes of 853 normal juvenile cynomolgus monkeys, statistics and establishment of reference ranges for hematological indexes of various age groups of juvenile experimental cynomolgus monkeys in Guangdong Province.
Method: 273 cynomolgus monkeys (124 females and 149 males) aged 1 to 2 years old (1≤x<2) and 307 cynomolgus monkeys aged 2 to 3 years old (2≤x<3) (244 females) were randomly selected. , 63 males), 3 to 4 years old (3≤x<4) 273 cynomolgus monkeys (124 females, 149 males), test their hematological indicators, and then divide them into subgroups by sex for comparison.
Results: The reference ranges for the normal values of hematological indicators of the juvenile experimental cynomolgus monkeys at various ages were established; comparison between male and female animals, among the blood routine indicators of 1 to 2 years old, 7 indicators such as PLT were significantly different (P<0.05 or P<0.01); among the blood routine indexes of 2 to 3 years old animals, 5 indexes such as RDW-SD have significant differences (P<0.05 or P<0.01); among the blood routine indexes of 3 to 4 years old animals, WBC There are significant differences in 11 other indicators (P<0.05 or P<0.01); the rest are not statistically significant.
Conclusion: Juvenile cynomolgus monkeys are in the growth and development stage, and their hematological indicators are quite different in different age groups, and there are obvious differences between different genders. This study provides hematological background data for different age groups of normal cynomolgus monkeys in their juvenile period , Which provides a reliable reference for its application in the field of biomedicine.
