[Animal Modeling]-Evaluation of the test results of the detection ability of esterase-1 in the serum of experimental mice

Purpose: Through the detection and comparison of the esterase-1 item in the serum of experimental mice, to promote the national laboratory animal quality testing laboratories to strengthen quality control management and improve testing capabilities.

Method: Prepare proficiency test samples according to standard procedures, random numbers, and cold chain transport and distribute them to participating units. Participants submit inspection results and copies of original records within the specified time limit. If the result obtained is completely consistent with the sample pre-inspection result, it is deemed a satisfactory result, otherwise it is an unsatisfactory result.

Results: A total of 11 laboratories signed up to participate in the comparison test, of which 10 laboratories were satisfied with the results, accounting for 90.9% of the participating laboratories; 1 laboratory was not satisfied with the results, accounting for the participating laboratories 9.1%.

Conclusion: This proficiency testing project reflects that the overall detection level of esterase-1 in the experimental mouse kidney homogenate of the participating laboratories is relatively high, but it is still necessary to pay attention to standard specifications and detection details.
