【Animal modeling】-Differential expression of Tibetan minipig IGF-1 gene in different growth stages and different tissues and organs

Objective: To determine the expression distribution of IGF-1 gene in Tibetan minipigs at different ages and different tissues, so as to provide basic data for future research.

Method: Using real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR technology, with GAPDH gene as an internal reference, the expression changes of IGF-1 gene in different tissues and different growth stages of Tibet mini-pigs were detected.

Results: (1) The sequential study of IGF-1 gene expression showed that the expression level of muscle tissue was the lowest at 0, 0.25, 0.5, 1, and 2 years old, and the expression level was highest in skin tissue at 0, 0.25, and 0.5 years old. The expression level of liver tissue is highest at the age of 0.1, 2, and 3 years old. (2) IGF-1 gene is expressed in 7 different tissues. At the age of 0.25, its expression abundance in descending order is: skin, lung, liver, kidney, spleen, heart and muscle. And the expression level in the skin is the highest and extremely significantly higher than other tissues (P<0.01). At the same time, in the expression of different ages, the expression of IGF-1 gene in each tissue reached the peak at the age of 0.25.

Conclusion: The expression of IGF-1 gene in Tibet minipigs shows obvious temporal and spatial specificity.
