【Animal Modeling】-Analysis of genetic detection of microsatellite DNA in highly immunodeficient mice from different sources

Purpose: To detect and analyze the genetic background of highly immunodeficient mice from different sources, aiming to find out whether the genetic background of genetically modified mice conforms to the genetic characteristics of inbred lines.

Method: Select 30 microsatellite DNA loci for PCR detection of 4 kinds of highly immunodeficient mice with NOD background from different sources, determine the genotype by gel electrophoresis results and STR scanning, and conduct genetic analysis.

Results: A total of 17 loci in the 4 groups of 20 samples showed polymorphisms. The 30 microsatellite loci of the mice in the A and B groups showed pure sums. The other two groups of mice showed heterozygous individuals at different loci. ; The two groups A and B have the smallest genetic distance and maintain a high degree of genetic similarity.

Conclusion: Studies have shown that the genetic backgrounds of highly immunodeficient mice from different sources are different.
