Objective: To investigate the effects of noise pollution on blood hormone levels and expression of heat shock protein-70 (Hsp-70) in rats.
Methods: 40 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into control group (normal feeding) and experimental group (divided into 35dB, 65dB, and 85dB groups), 10 animals in each group. Stimulated once a day for 30 min each time, continuous Stimulation for 20 days. On the 21st day, blood was collected to detect the levels of norepinephrine (NA), testosterone (T), dopamine (DA) and Hsp-70 in blood by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).
Results: ELISA method showed that the body weight of rats in the experimental group (35, 65, 85dB group) decreased by 23.45%, 30.13%, 35.64%, and the levels of T and DA decreased by 9.12%, 20.06%, and 37.99%, respectively, compared with the control group. and 15.49%, 18.31%, 24.88%; blood NA and Hsp-70 levels increased by 35.08%, 171.52%, 197.86% and 39.34%, 195.09%, 285.25%, respectively, with significant differences (all P<0.01). .
Conclusion: Noise pollution can significantly affect blood hormone levels and the expression of heat shock protein-70 in rats.
