【Animal modeling】-Expression and regulation of PCOS susceptibility gene Hmga2 in mouse uterine decidualization

Objective: To study the expression and regulation of PCOS susceptibility gene Hmga2 in endometrial receptivity and decidualization.

Methods: Through the experiments of early pregnancy, delayed implantation and activation, artificial decidualization, ovarian steroid hormone treatment, etc., using qPCR and Western blot techniques, the role of Hmga2 in endometrial receptivity was described.

Results: The expression of Hmga2 gradually increased with pregnancy, and the expression of Hmga2 was significantly higher than that of non-implantation sites. The expression of Hmga2 was significantly higher than that of delayed implantation in the embryo activation group. The artificially induced decidualization was compared with non-decidualization. The expression was significantly increased, and the expression of Hmga2 was positively correlated with estrogen and progesterone, which was regulated by estrogen and progesterone in vivo.

Conclusion: The expression of Hmga2 is closely related to the embryo implantation process of early pregnancy in mice, participates in the process of endometrial decidualization, and is affected by activated blastocyst and steroid hormones.
