Objective: To study the effect of oxysophocarpine on xylene and carrageenan-induced inflammatory pain in mice to explore its possible mechanism.
METHODS: Fifty ICR mice were randomly divided into model group, ASP treatment group, oxysophocarpine high-dose, medium-dose and low-dose groups. Carrageenan-induced toe swelling experiment in mice to study the effect of oxysophocarpine on various inflammatory stimuli in mice.
Results: Compared with the normal saline group, oxysophocarpine in each dose group could significantly inhibit the degree of ear swelling in mice induced by xylene and the degree of toe swelling in mice induced by carrageenan; TNF-α, IL in mouse foot tissue -1β, IL-6 and PGE2 levels were significantly reduced.
Conclusion: OSC has obvious analgesic effect on carrageenan-induced inflammatory pain, which may be related to the inhibition of the secretion of inflammatory factors.
