Objective: To observe the general anesthesia effect of Lu Mianning compound anesthesia on miniature pigs, and to emphasize the safety awareness of general anesthesia. Echocardiography was used to study the main functions and structures of normal minipig hearts in preparation for follow-up comparative medical research.
Methods: Forty-three Bama miniature pigs were injected with 5 mL of mixed solution: lumianning, atropine sulfate, droperidol each by intramuscular injection in the neck behind the ears, and echocardiography was performed after general anesthesia. Results: The anesthesia induction period was (18±3) min, the anesthesia period was (40±5) min, and the recovery period was (60±10) min. Left atrial diameter LAD (2.54±0.20) cm, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter LVDd (3.41±0.25) cm, left ventricular end-systolic diameter LVDs (2.28±0.23) cm, interventricular septum thickness IVSTd (0.60±0.07) cm, left ventricular Posterior wall thickness LVPWTd (0.59±0.07) cm, aortic width AoD (1.77±0.18) cm, left ventricular end-diastolic volume EDV (48.59±8.31) mL, left ventricular end-systolic volume ESV (18.28±4.46) mL, per stroke The output SV was (39.30±5.16) mL, and the left ventricular ejection fraction was EF (62.76±5.01)%.
Conclusion: Combined anesthesia of Lu Mianning with droperidol and atropine sulfate is a simple, fast, safe and effective anesthesia method for cardiogram examination of miniature pigs. In this study, data on the main functions and structures of the heart of normal miniature pigs were obtained, which provided reference for scientific research and veterinary clinical practice.
