Objective To determine the biological characteristics of self-bred hACE2-KI/NIFDC transgenic mice.
Methods 11 organ coefficients, 22 blood physiological indexes and 13 blood biochemical indexes were measured in 10 female hACE2-KI/NIFDC mice at 4 weeks and 8 weeks respectively, and statistical methods were used to analyze the differences between groups.
Results Five organ coefficients (spleen, lung, thymus, left kidney, right kidney, P<0.01) and three blood physiological indexes (MCV, MCH, EOS, P<0.05) in the 4-week-old group were higher than those in the 8-week-old group. In the group, five indexes (MON%, ALP, P<0.05; cardiac organ coefficient, AST, P, P<0.01) were lower than those in the 8-week-old group.
Conclusion The determination of biological characteristics of hACE2-KI/NIFDC mice provides basic data for its application research.
