【Animal Modeling】-Expression profile of TRIM26 in major tissues and organs of human and mouse

Objective To clarify the expression location and level of TRIM26 in different tissues and organs of human and mouse.

Methods The expression localization study was carried out by immunohistochemistry PV-9000 two-step method (non-biotin), the expression level of TRIM26 in human tissues was analyzed by BioGPS database, and the expression level of TRIM26 in major tissues and organs of mice was detected by RT-qPCR.

Results The results of IHC showed that the TRIM26 protein signal was localized in the cytoplasm and nucleus, and its expression was more common in epithelial cells. TRIM26 protein in human and mouse esophageal squamous epithelial cells, gastric epithelial cells, intestinal epithelial cells, colon epithelial cells, pancreatic islet cells, brain glial cells, renal tubular epithelial cells and glomerular cells and endometrial glandular epithelial cells The expression localization is consistent. In addition, the relative expression of TRIM26 was the highest in human tracheal tissue and mouse spleen tissue, respectively.

Conclusion The expression and localization of TRIM26 in human and mouse tissues are consistent, and the expression level is slightly different. The clarification of the expression profile of TRIM26 in major tissues and organs of human and mouse will lay a good foundation for analyzing the function of TRIM26 in different tissues and organs by using TRIM26 conditional knockout mice.
