Objective To establish the biological indicators of normal SD rats in the long-term toxicity test in the barrier environment animal laboratory of the Chinese Medicine Safety Evaluation Center (CLP), and to provide reference indicators for future researchers.
Methods 10 batches of SD rats in normal control group were collected for long-term toxicity test, and they were fed normally. Body weight growth and food intake were measured once a week. and biochemical indicators.
Results The food intake of male SD rats was higher, and the body weight increased linearly, which was higher than that of female rats. The organ index of male SD rats decreased, indicating that the growth and development and feed utilization of male rats were faster than that of dimensional rats. There were no significant changes in blood and biochemical parameters.
Conclusion These normal data indicators can provide reference indicators for future rat experiments in animal laboratories in GLP barrier environments.
