OBJECTIVE: To analyze the genetic differences between BALB/c mutant curly-haired mice and normal BALB/c mice using microsatellite DNA marker technology.
METHODS: Thirty-eight microsatellite DNA loci were selected combined with fluorescent PCR technology and STR scanning genotype to detect the genetic variation of BALB/c mutant curly mice, hairless mice and normal mice.
Results: 27 of the 38 microsatellite loci were the same between BALB/c mutant curly hair mice and normal mice, and 11 loci were different, and the mutation rate was 28.9% (11/38). ); 30 loci were identical between BABL/c mutant hairless mice and normal mice, and 8 loci were different, with a mutation rate of 21.1% (8/38); while BABL/c mutant curly hair There were also 12 differences between mice and hairless mice.
Conclusion: The mutation rate of BALB/c mutant curly mice is higher and significantly higher than that of hairless mice. and developed applications in BALB/c mutant curly mice provide reliable theoretical data.
