Objective: To study the depilation parameters of SD rat skin, and to provide basic experimental conditions for establishing skin photoaging animal model.
Methods: Taking the residual amount of hair and the area of skin lesions as evaluation indicators, the effects of Na2S concentration and time on the hair removal effect were investigated respectively. On this basis, the Na2S hair removal parameters were further optimized by D-optimal design.
Results: The concentration of Na2S is the key factor affecting the ability of hair removal. Below 5%, there is almost no hair removal effect. When the concentration of Na2S is above 7%, skin lesions start to appear and gradually increase. 6% is the basic concentration of hair removal. The hair removal starts at 6% Na2S concentration for 5 minutes. , the skin surface was smooth at 10 minutes, very smooth at 15 minutes, the skin lesions appeared after 15 minutes, the skin lesions became aggravated at 20 minutes, and the skin burning-like appearance was visible to the naked eye at 25 minutes. The D-optimal design showed that 7% Na2S acts The best results were achieved within 10 minutes, with no skin lesions and no residual hair.
Conclusion: The chemical depilation of SD rat skin based on D-optimal design can achieve high-efficiency depilation.
