【Animal modeling】-Analysis of genetic detection of microsatellite DNA in highly immunodeficient mice from different sources

Objective: To detect and analyze the genetic background of highly immunodeficient mice from different sources, in order to find out whether the genetic background of the genetically modified mice conforms to the genetic characteristics of inbred lines.

METHODS: Thirty microsatellite DNA loci were selected for PCR detection of 4 kinds of highly immunodeficient mice with NOD background from different sources. The genotype was determined by gel electrophoresis and STR scanning, and genetic analysis was carried out.

Results: A total of 17 loci in 20 samples from the 4 groups showed polymorphism. The 30 microsatellite loci of the mice in the A and B groups were homozygous, and the other two groups of mice showed heterozygous individuals at different loci. ; A and B groups have the smallest genetic distance and maintain a high degree of genetic similarity.

Conclusion: The study shows that the genetic background of highly immunodeficient mice from different sources is different.
