Objective To understand the changes of estrogen, progesterone, prolactin in plasma and prolactin and prolactin receptor mRNA levels in male green fluorescent nude mice in different pregnancy and lactation periods.
Methods The levels of hormones in plasma were determined by electrochemiluminescence, and the relative expression levels of prolactin and prolactin receptor mRNA were determined by fluorescence quantitative PCR.
Results During pregnancy, the levels of estrogen and prolactin in GFP mice continued to decline, the level of progesterone first increased and then decreased slowly, the level of prolactin mRNA in tissues was low, and the level of prolactin receptor was high; Estrogen and progesterone levels were relatively stable, prolactin mRNA levels in tissues were high, and prolactin receptor levels were low.
Conclusion GFP nude mice have different levels of sex hormones in female mice in different periods, which are involved in the regulation of pregnancy in nude mice, providing basic reference values and solutions at the internal level for solving problems such as infertility and easy miscarriage in female mice.
