【Animal modeling】-Experimental study on growth and reproduction of Tlr4 knockout mice

  Objective: To study the similarities and differences in growth and reproduction between Tlr4 knockout mice and KM mice.

  Methods: Select 20 Tlr4 knockout mice and 20 KM mice each, half male and half male, measure the body weight, body length and the growth rate of the mice from the 4th to 12th week, and randomly select 20 cages, one in each cage. One male and one male, the second litter pups produced by them were counted.

  Results: The body weight and growth rate of Tlr4 knockout mice were significantly smaller than those of KM mice, P<0.05; there="" was="" no="" significant="" difference="" in="" body="" length="" and="" growth="" rate="" between="" the="" two="" mice="" at="" 4th="" 5th="" p="">0.05, at other times The body length and growth rate of Tlr4 knockout mice were significantly smaller than those of KM mice, P < 0.05; the reproductive capacity of Tlr4 knockout mice was significantly smaller than that of KM mice, P < 0.05.

  Conclusion: Tlr4 gene knockout has certain effects on the growth, development and reproduction of mice.
