【Animal Modeling】-Analysis of the weight of main organs and blood physiological and biochemical indexes in mice with congenital cataract

Objective: To establish the background data of body weight, main organ weight, blood physiology and biochemistry of SPF congenital cataract mice.

Methods: The 28-day-old and 56-day-old normal KM mice were used as the control group, and the congenital cataract mice of the same age were used as the experimental group.

Results: Compared with 28-day-old KM mice, there was no statistical significance in the indicators of cataract mice at the same age; compared with 56-day-old KM mice: (1) body weight, heart, liver, spleen and lung , kidney and male testis weight differences were statistically significant (P<0.05 or P<0.01). (2) The data of hematological examination showed that there were significant differences in mean platelet volume, platelet distribution width and the ratio of white blood cells, platelets and lymphocytes in male mice (P<0.01). (3) The blood biochemical examination data showed that there were statistically significant differences in alkaline phosphatase, uric acid, glucose, total protein, alanine aminotransferase, albumin, urea and triglyceride in female rats (P<0.05 or P<0.05 or P<0.05). 0.01).

Conclusion: Compared with KM mice of the same age, 56-day-old cataract mice have certain differences in body weight, main organ weight and some physiological and biochemical indicators. The research results can provide reference data for researchers.
