【Animal modeling】-Differential expression of BAMBI in different types of adipose tissue development and adipocyte differentiation in mice

Objective: To study the expression regularity of BAMBI gene in different adipose tissue development in mice.

Methods: RT-qPCR and Western blot techniques were used to detect the expression of BAMBI gene in different types of adipose tissue, different developmental stages (embryo day 18, birth day 0, day 21, week 8 and month 6) and original Differential expression of preadipocytes during differentiation (days 0, 3, 7, and 11 of differentiation).

Results: With the development of adipose tissue, the expression of BAMBI mRNA and protein gradually decreased; at the same time of development, BAMBI mRNA expression was higher in visceral white adipose tissue than in subcutaneous white adipose tissue, and lowest in brown adipose tissue ; During the induction and differentiation of mouse preadipocytes, BAMBI mRNA expression decreased in a time-dependent manner.

Conclusion: It is suggested that the differential expression of BAMBI is closely related to the type of adipose tissue, developmental stage and degree of adipocyte differentiation, and it plays an important role in the development of adipose tissue.
