【Animal modeling】-Effect of Jiangxiangru water extract on gastrointestinal physiology, biochemistry and immune function in hyperlipidemia rats

Objective To investigate the therapeutic improvement effect of Jiangxiangru water extract on hyperlipidemia model rats, and to provide modern pharmacological basis for the traditional efficacy of Jiangxiangru for warming the stomach, invigorating the spleen and removing dampness.

Methods A high-fat model was established by feeding with high-fat diet. According to the level of triglyceride (TCH), the rats were divided into model group (distilled water), low-dose group (0.2 mg/kg) and high-dose group (1 mg/kg) of S. Normal control group (distilled water), each group was administered according to the designed dose for 8 weeks, and the body weight, blood routine, physiological and biochemical indexes of the rats, as well as energy metabolism, gastrointestinal function, immune inflammatory response, and small intestine propulsion of the rats in each group were observed. Comparing the data of each group, evaluating the effect of Jiangxiangru water extract on high-fat model rats and Jiangxiangru's warming stomach, invigorating spleen and eliminating dampness.

Results The experimental results showed that Jiangxiangru water extract had a relatively obvious effect on reducing the body weight of hyperlipidemia model rats, and could also reduce the blood lipid level of hyperlipidemia rats. Compared with the control group, the small intestine propulsion rate, intestinal water content, serum gastrin and serum motilin contents of the rats in the model group decreased. The small intestine advancement rate, intestinal water content, serum gastrin and serum motilin increased with the administration amount, and the difference in the small intestine advancement was statistically significant (P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the hyperlipidemia model group rats The activities of serum sodium potassium ATPase and amylase AMS decreased, while the production of aquaporin AQP2 increased, and the difference in AMS reached a statistically significant level (P<0.05). The activities of serum Na+ -K+ -ATPase and AMS increased with the increase of the dose, and the content of AQP2 increased but decreased with the increase of the dose, and the difference of AMS was statistically significant (P<0.05).

Conclusion Jiangxiangru water extract can significantly promote the small intestine propulsion of hyperlipidemia rats, regulate gastrointestinal function, can significantly improve AMS activity, and improve hyperlipidemia on motilin, gastrin and related biochemical and immune functions. Symptoms in rats.
