Objective To observe the effect of Naoshuantong capsule on the expression of inflammatory related factors interleukin-1β, interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor, intercellular adhesion molecule-1 and metalloproteinase-9 in ApoE-/- atherosclerosis mouse model. Methods 8-week-old male ApoE-/- mice were given a high-fat diet to establish an atherosclerosis model. After successful modeling, they were randomly divided into a model control group, a low-dose Naoshuantong capsule group, and a high-dose Naoshuantong capsule group. . The low-dose group was given Naoshuantong capsule 0.5 g/kg body weight, the high-dose group was given Naoshuantong capsule 1.0 g/kg body weight, and the model control group was given the same amount of distilled water.
