[Animal experiment]-Protective effect of Danggui Buxue Decoction on radiation-damaged mice

Objective: To observe the protective effect of Danggui Buxue Decoction on mice irradiated with 60C0-γ rays.

Method: The experimental mice were randomly divided into 5 groups (normal control group, model group, Danggui Buxue Decoction low, medium and high dose groups). Except for the normal control group, each group of mice was given a 60C0-γ radiation source. We have established a radiation injury model, which contains peripheral blood neutrophils (NEUT), bone marrow nucleated cells (BMC), serum superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and serum C in each group of mice. Dialdehyde (MDA). Determine the amount.

Result: NEUT, BMC and SOD activities of radiation-damaged mice were significantly reduced (P <0.01), and MDA content increased (P <0.01). Danggui Buxue Decoction can increase NEUT, BMC and SOD activities in mice after radiation injury, and reduce MDA content. In addition, the high-dose Danggui Buxue Decoction group had a higher protective effect on radiation-damaged mice (P<0.01).

Conclusion: Danggui Buxue Decoction has a certain protective effect and can prevent ionization damage in irradiated mice, which is related to the dose.
