Objective To construct a rat treadmill resistance training model.
Methods 40 19-month-old male SD rats were selected, and the angle and speed of treadmill placement were determined by testing, and the exercise program of the resistance training model was determined according to the weight-bearing load of the rat's tail and changes in whole blood lactate.
Results The rats underwent resistance training on a treadmill with a slope of 35° and a running speed of 15 m/min, and the exercise effect was better. During 8-15 s of exercise, the mean whole blood lactate concentration was 3.8-5.2 mmol/L. According to the half-time reflection of energy metabolism and whole blood lactate, the resistance training run of 15 s and the interval of 30 s were set as one training. The whole blood lactate concentration was relatively stable after 4 training sessions in each group; the interval between each group was 3 minutes, and the whole blood lactate concentration was 4-5 mmol/L for 3 groups per day.
Conclusion By setting the parameters of treadmill slope, speed and rat tail load, a rat treadmill resistance training model was established.
