Objective: To establish a rat model of ulcerative colitis of spleen kidney yang deficiency type.
Methods: The animal model of spleen kidney yang deficiency UC was established by perfusion of rhubarb decoction, intramuscular injection of hydrocortisone and enema with TNBS (2,4,6-trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid) mixed with ethanol. Sixty rats were randomly divided into blank group and UC model of spleen kidney yang deficiency type on the 7th, 14th and 21st day. The content of FT3, FT4 and T in serum of rats in each group was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
Results: Compared with the blank group, the contents of FT3, FT4 and T in the serum of rats in the 7th, 14th and 21st day groups of UC model with spleen kidney yang deficiency decreased (P<0.05); The difference was significant in model 21 days group.
Conclusion: FT3, FT4 and T are sensitive indicators of spleen and kidney yang deficiency. Detection of serum FT3, FT4 and T can better support spleen and kidney yang deficiency; It proved that the reconstruction of UC animal model of spleen kidney yang deficiency type was successful.
