  Objective To study the effects of five kinds of ferula from Xinjiang and their different polar parts on the proliferation inhibition and apoptosis of human colon cancer HCT 116 cells in vitro, and to study the effects of five kinds of ferula from Xinjiang on colon cancer CT-26 mice in vivo.

  Methods Five kinds of ferula and different polar sites in Xinjiang interfered with human colon cancer HCT 116 cells. The absorbance OD value was measured by MTT colorimetry, the proliferation inhibition rate was calculated, and the apoptosis rate was measured by flow cytometry. The tumor model of BALB/c colon cancer CT-26 mice was established and randomly divided into normal group, model group, cisplatin group and 5 low and high dose groups of ferula. After continuous intragastric administration for 10 days, the mice were killed on the 11th day, the tumor, spleen, kidney and thymus were taken out, and the organ index and tumor inhibition rate of mice in each group were calculated.

  Results For human colon cancer HCT 116 cells, the ethanol extracts of Ferula multiflora, Ferula junggar, and Ferula Xinjiang had a better inhibitory effect, with IC50 of 26 06、28. 31、42. twenty-seven μ G/mL, the inhibitory effect of ferulic acid was weak, and the IC50 was 131 sixty-one μ G/mL, the effect of Ferula conus is the weakest, IC50 is 261 seventy-seven μ g / mL; The petroleum ether fraction, dichloromethane fraction and ethyl acetate fraction of ferula junggar have obvious inhibitory effects on human colon cancer HCT 116 cells, while the water-saturated n-butanol fraction has weak inhibitory effect, while the water-extracted fraction has little effect. Among the five species of ferula in Xinjiang, ferula junggar has a better pro-apoptotic effect on human colon cancer HCT 116 cells. For the colon cancer CT-26 mice, compared with the normal group, the spleen weight, kidney weight, thymus weight and viscera index of the mice in the five kinds of ferula administration groups in Xinjiang have a downward trend, which is consistent with the action trend of the positive drug cisplatin group; From the perspective of tumor inhibition effect, the tumor inhibition rates of the high and low dose groups of ferulic junggar were 61. 5% 73%、67. 40%。

  Conclusion Ferula junggar has a good effect on colon cancer, which deserves further study.
