In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "National Natural Science Foundation of China-Shandong Provincial People's Government Joint Fund" (hereinafter referred to as NSFC-Shandong Joint Fund) and other relevant regulations, in order to do a good job in soliciting guidelines for NSFC-Shandong Joint Fund-funded projects in 2021, the relevant matters are now notified as follows .
1. Funding focus
(1) Carry out basic and applied basic research around the following major strategic needs in four disciplines including chemical science, life science, earth science, engineering and materials science.

(2) In the field of physics, centering on the experimental research of particle physics and particle astrophysics in international large scientific installations, we have carried out cutting-edge research on the asymmetry of positive and negative materials in the universe, the nature of dark matter, the origin of cosmic rays and the solar system radiation environment.
2. Funding objectives
1. Provide scientific support for solving major scientific problems and technical bottlenecks, break through key commonalities and core technologies, and form independent intellectual property rights.
2. The combination of domestic and foreign superior scientific and technological resources and the scientific and technological forces of Shandong Province organically promote the development of relevant disciplines and teams in Shandong Province, and enhance the basic research strength of the province.
3. Intensity of funding
With reference to the funding intensity of key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the project execution period is 4 years.

Notice of Yunnan Provincial Department of Science and Technology on Recruiting Proposal for Application Guidelines for NSFC-Yunnan Joint Fund Project in 2021
