[Animal experiment]-Protective effect of ginseng coenzyme Q10 sunscreen on mice damaged by ultraviolet rays

Objective: To study the protective effect of ginseng coenzyme Q10 sunscreen on mice with ultraviolet rays.

Method: 36 mice were randomly divided into groups. After the skin is depilated, each corresponding cream is applied. The normal control group did nothing, and the other groups were exposed to ultraviolet light. After 8 consecutive weeks, the mice were killed with blood and the indicators were tested. Results: Compared with mice in the normal group, the mice in the model group had rough skin, wrinkles and cuticles. Compared with the model group, the T-SOD and GSH-Px activities of the mice in the ginseng coenzyme Q10 sunscreen group were significantly reduced, and the white blood cell count and MDA content were significantly increased (P<0.05), which showed smooth skin without keratin Layer, T-SOD activity increased, red blood cell and hemoglobin content, white blood cell count and MDA content significantly decreased (P<0.05). In the positive control group, the skin of the mice was smooth, the stratum corneum was not peeled off, the activity of GSH-Px increased, and the white blood cell count and MDA content decreased (P<0.05).

Conclusion: Korean ginseng coenzyme Q10 sunscreen has anti-ultraviolet damage, and its protective effect is equivalent to methoxycinnamic acid coenzyme Q10 cream.
